Our stance on personal information
CosMED Pharmaceutical (hereinafter referred to as our company) makes every effort to protect personal information of our customers with the understanding that the protection of our customers’ personal information is most important for us.
Purpose of use of personal data
Our sales company uses personal information of customers only for the purposes described below.

Shipping, management and return of products
Provision and management of information relating to products and services
Development, improvement and marketing of products and services
Management of receivables owned by our sales company
Response to inquiries and requests from customers
All the personal information provided to us shall not be used for any purpose, except those written above, without prior consent from the customers.
The use of personal information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and relevant laws and regulations, however, shall not be within the scope of restriction described above.
Strict management of information
The personal information of customers is kept under appropriate and strict management where the information is maintained correctly in the latest condition by the instruction of the chief administrator. No one except a limited number of staff can access the information. We make every effort to improve information security every day to conduct strict management and take safety measures against “leaks, destruction and alteration” of information by unauthorized access.
Prohibited disclosure to a third party
The personal information of customers shall not be disclosed or provided to any third party except in the cases described below.
The customer has agreed to the disclosure or provision of personal information.
The personal information has been processed into a form with which a customer cannot be identified, such as statistical data.
The personal information is provided to affiliate companies or contractors who have entered into a confidentiality agreement on personal information with our sales company, while the personal information to be provided is restricted within the scope necessary for the affiliate companies to conduct business or for the contractors to conduct business under the contract.
Our sales company is ordered to provide personal information to authorities or relevant organizations under relevant acts or regulations.
Response to the requests for disclosure, amendment and deletion of personal information
If a customer requests confirmation, amendment or deletion of his/her own personal information, we will confirm the identity of the customer and immediately respond to the request in good faith.
Compliance with laws and ordinances and continual review
We strictly comply with Japanese laws and ordinances and other rules relevant to protection of personal information, and continually review and improve our management of personal information of our customers.
